Dear Saints,
As spring settles across our campuses, it brings with it the welcome sense of that familiar momentum that always accompanies this time of year! The lengthening days and warmer light seem to mirror the energy within our community, where classrooms, fields, and performance spaces are alive with purpose and possibility. It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the final weeks of the school year.
This season is, in many ways, a celebration of the journey. Across the school, we see the culmination of months of effort and growth: concerts that reflect both discipline and artistry, athletic competitions marked by teamwork and determination, and art and academic exhibits that showcase the depth of our students’ thinking and creativity. These moments are not only milestones—they are powerful expressions of who our students are becoming.
In mid-April, that same spirit was on full display as we welcomed our Saints alumni back to campus for Reunion Weekend. It was a joy to see generations of Saints reconnect—sharing stories, revisiting cherished spaces, and celebrating the relationships that continue to define their connection to the school. Weekends like these are a powerful reminder that the impact of a Saints education endures far beyond graduation. They reflect the deep sense of belonging that remains with our alumni and the lasting influence of the teachers, coaches, and friendships that shape their lives. In so many ways, our alumni embody the living legacy of this community.
Our work on the Strategic Plan continues to shape a clear and compelling vision for the future of the school—one that both honors our traditions and prepares our students to thrive in a complex and changing world. Central to this effort is the development of our Portrait of a Saint, which seeks to define the enduring qualities we hope to cultivate in every graduate. Just as important is our commitment to securing the long-term vitality of the school by expanding access and ensuring sustainability. We are focused on attracting and supporting a socio-economically diverse student body, strengthening our financial foundation, and engaging our broader community in meaningful ways. In doing so, we affirm that a Saints education must remain both excellent and accessible—rooted in equity, sustained through thoughtful stewardship, and made possible by the collective investment of those who believe in our mission. This work not only strengthens our community today, but ensures that future generations of Saints will thrive.
Even amid this forward-looking work, I am continually reminded that the true heart of our school is found in the everyday interactions that shape our students’ experiences: a teacher’s encouragement, a moment of intellectual discovery, the bonds formed through collaboration and shared perseverance. These are the experiences that endure.
As we move toward the close of the year, there is much to celebrate and much to anticipate. I hope you will take time to enjoy the very special rhythm of spring on campus—a season that captures both the joy of the everyday moments and the promise of what lies ahead.
